Description

Well-known (Heart Nebula) IC 1805 foggy HST color palette.

The Cassiopeia of the fog is home to amateur astronomers because of its characteristic W shape. The IC 1805 is located approximately 7,500 light years away from the Sun in the Perseus Arm. The center of the heart is dominated by the loose structure Melotte 15. My photo is the middle region of fog cloud, with narrow band filters, called the Hubble palette. This method separates and distributes the distribution of the various materials in the object. The discovery of the fog lies with William Herschel (3 November 1787)
